What I’m working on
Its name is Tasty Menu and is a KMenu replacement (oh,no! another one! yah, another one :P).
It’s aim it’s to be a testbed on usability issues rather than eyecandy.
How it will look like? See on the left.
The layout will have three colums (more width than height, shoul look ok also in lower resolutions).
The column on the left (the more accessible onr) will be for most used applications and for the results of the search field, the second column has the main categories and the column on the right contains the items of each category. It’s still too alpha for being released, but I feel it already more confortable than standard kmenu.
Stay tuned for more details and a first release!
Polyester 0.9.2
Polyester 0.9
Today I’ve released a new version of the Polyester kde theme. This time it has both many bugfixes and some new nice enhancements, in particular I’m very proud of the new kick-ass listview.
Hoping I didn’t introduced too many new bugs, this will be the last release from here to some time in the future, next version after the exams session 🙂
As usual you can find the tarball on this site and also on Kde-Look along some precompiled binaries.
Polyester new version
I released a new version of Polyester kde style, there are only some minor changes.
Glaze, away
Some days ago i released on this site and on kde-look glaze, a not-so-little icon theme, i hope to get it a little more complete before i will start writing my thesys in (i hope) a near future.
I hope to publish a new version of glaze, with the complete filesystems section and everything in the toolbars of konqueror and kate.
I also hope to make a new version of the good old crystalcursors with a full replacement of the cursors used in the gimp 2.2
After that, i can’t promise anything, probably i will disappear for a loong time 🙂
CrystalCursors
published new version, this release fixes only the build system, changes includes:
-in left handed themes the symmetric cursors aren’t flipped anymore
-now it’s finally possible to install the cursors system-wide:
all you have to do is to edit the Makefile and change the first line
export PREFIX=$(HOME)/.icons/ with a properdirectory, usually
export PREFIX=/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/icons is a good choice,
that should also make simpler to build rpms and other packages
various graphic stuffs
i finished to upload my current works:
bluetribe(ooold), bubbles and especially crystalcursors.
that’s it!
