Another Tastymenu update with some bugfixes and some translation updates, you can grab it here 🙂
Made a release with a new Polish translation by Tomasz Argasiński, plus some bugfixes, you can download it here 🙂
I am very busy this period, so it’s some week I don’t touch a line of code 🙁
So today having a more or less free day, I’ve decided to finally release the last installments of
Polyester and Tastymenu I had sitting on my hd by quite some time, so now I can return to the boring stuff 😛
Polyester 1.95
Now then Tasty menu (or its tooltip) is open it no longer steals the mouse and keyboard input.
Plus fixed some other mini issues and there is a new shiny Finnish translation by Tommi Nieminen.
Get it while it’s hot!
Not having spotted particular problems in the rc2, since I’ve received a new (French) translation (thanks to Laurent Hilsz!) I’ve decided to release it as 1.0, you can download it here.
I’m pretty happy how it has come along, of course I will continue to mantain it with bugfixes or translations, but at the moment i consider it more or less “complete”
Maybe some day I will embark in a kde4 port, maybe making it a little Plasma thingie, but since I’m finishing university, uncertain rules, we’ll see 🙂
Made a little bugfix release, you can get it here 🙂
So I’ve decided to stop procrastinating and release a first alpha of Polyester 2 into the wild 🙂 you can get it here
some veeery important notes:
Second release in two days 🙂 At this point I consider it pretty much feature complete, at least for KDE3, if there will ever be a kde4 version it will be more or less a total redesign, let’s see…
This release fixes only one bug but probably the most annoying: now the search field should be so much faster that it can be used for real 🙂
Get it while it’s hot 😛
Added Ukrainian translation to Tasty Menu thanks to Motsyo Vitaliy and a tiny bugfix into the configuation dialog of Polyester.
The Qt4 version of Polyester is coming along nicely, is still too unstable for a first release but i hope an alpha isn’t too far.
Here you can see a KDE4 beta1 screenshot as it appears with the Polyester theme.
As you can see it won’t be exactly identical to Polyester1, because I want to experiment some of the new goodies offered by qt4, so maybe in the future it will be even more aesthetical changes, i don’t know.
If you are impatient to try it there is always the bazaar repository on launchpad.net/polyester
