{"id":5765,"date":"2012-05-21T14:06:01","date_gmt":"2012-05-21T14:06:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.notmart.org\/index.php\/Software\/Maliit_and_Plasma_Active"},"modified":"2012-05-21T14:06:01","modified_gmt":"2012-05-21T14:06:01","slug":"maliit_and_plasma_active","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/notmart.org\/blog\/2012\/05\/maliit_and_plasma_active\/","title":{"rendered":"Maliit and Plasma Active"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Until now Plasma active had an on screen keyboard that served us well, but due to its implementation had some limits that couldn&#8217;t be easily overcome.<\/p>\n<p>However there is a Qt based virtual keyboard project that is very promising: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maliit.org\">Maliit<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the one that was used in the Nokia N9, and already made a good progress since the version used there.<\/p>\n<p>To have a good user experience on Plasma Active it should be well integrated, both as in look and behavior with the rest of the environment.
